It's literally easy walk to st joseph's cathedral. Porte D'annam Restaurant, located within 5 minutes' walk, is a good dining option. We had a sunny balcony.

Room was good sized, bigger then in most Hanoi hotels. Free Wi Fi was a pleasant addition;)))
